Agreement between individuals, companies or countries to limit competition. Usually occurs between groups within the same sector company to set the price of their product.
Sometimes these agreements also include limitations on production and/or investment amounts and reducing the offer for the same consumer demand so the price increases. In most countries, these agreements have been declared illegal, because they raise prices, restrict production, and create monopoly in market conditions hurting the consumer.
