Market capitalization represents the consensus of investors about the value of a company. In a listed company, its assets can be bought and sold freely through the purchase and sale of shares thus determined the price of the shares of the company. Its market capitalization is the share price multiplied by the number of shares of the company, giving a total value of shares and, ultimately, for company as a whole.
